When the Vikings came to England to take property and land we established a village and as it was in the old days there was the raising of Hogs and fine hams were produced and sold as Vikers Hams.When our Forfathers came to America they established our new name as Wickersham as the V was pronounced as a W in England,hence Wickersham. We settled first in the Kentucky area and then split off to the west(California)and to the Oklahoma and Texas territory.
