The word "Den" or "den" is an old Dutch word meaning "of the" or "from" and usually appears before the "true" surname. The Broeks my line, I know of Ephard, had it at the time of Napoleon, like all other branches should have a last name. They lived at the time in Weener, near the road today Broeksgaste heißt.Dort towards Moehle Warf, where today's 2 football fields of the TUS are Weener and then a large green area to the low (Dwarsdeep), extending earlier was all waterlogged total .
