A MOTHER who believes that her son was born severely disabled because a doctor at his birth was distracted by a European football final is seeking £7.5 million compensation. Stephanie Ressel-Scott is suing the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh NHS Trust for damages on behalf of her son, Nicholas, who is now five.
