[Braintree and Witham Times] - Shannon Elliott, 11, and her family and friends will swim a total of 22 miles at Braintree Swimming Pool to raise money for Diabetes UK. Shannon, a year 6 pupil at St Michael's Primary in Braintree, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last January.
