The Samland (Russian: semljandskij Poluostrow, Lithuanian: Semba, Polish / Latin, Zambia) is a historic Prussian coastline Oblast. It is located in Prussia to Russia in the enclave belonging Kaliningradskaya. In the south it is bordered by the Pregel and east of the Deime, which runs from Gwardeisk (Tapiau) to Polessk (Labiau) and about 4 km further flows into the Curonian Lagoon. On the Baltic Sea from the Curonian Lagoon and the Samland the Vistula Lagoon is limited.
