Book collectors Dennis and Andrea Kahn gifted it to The Mount to celebrate the 100th anniversary, and The Mount's librarian Nynke Dorhout marvels at Wharton's signature and bookplate as she traces this copy back through Wharton's godson, Colin Clark. The book was recently appraised at $12,500.
