Loraine Petrillo says she had nothing to do with the mailer but is resigning in the wake of the controversy it has caused for the Innovative Arts Academy Charter School in Catasauqua. She's remaining on the job temporarily so the school can open as planned Sept. 6. The school says the mailer wasn't authorized.
