I write in English so that all can understand: The name is in two parts Indra Jit + Indra is a Vedic God depicted as the god of thunder. There are several hymns dedicated to Indra in the Rig Veda. The equivalent to Indra in the old European / Germanic legend is Thor (Thursday comes from Thor's day). Jit means to conquer. Hence one who has conquered Indrajit means Indra. According to the Indian epic Ramayana, Arindam, a son of Ravavna had defeated Indra and hence was known as Indrajit.
