· A Carlton youngster will soon see her artwork emblazoned across the wall of a park pavilion after winning a local design competition. Pupils at four local primary schools were asked to design artwork to brighten up the pavilion at Onchan Park, and Carlton Central Junior School pupil Heather Cully emerged triumphant after submitting her entry with the theme “Fun in the park”.
