The gunman was identified as 36 year old Lin Guozheng. Lin accused police of attempting to frame him for debts and crimes he didn’t commit. Turns out that the police who picked up Lin and his friend had picked the two up on robbery charges. The robbery charges were minor compared the mess Lin’s gotten himself into now.
