The idea for Le Tarot Essentiel emerged from an encounter between Andrea Wedell and astrologer Françoise Bitton. Wedell paints a series representing the 22 arcana (Marseille Divinatory cards), and Bitton writes an initiatory legend to guide and interpret them.
